Kishan lashes at the North-South Dividing

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief and union minister G. Kishan Reddy criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for raising the North-South divide and claimed that the southern states, which contributed a lot to the economy, received less funding. He questioned how the Chief Minister objected to spending in areas such as Adilabad, which contributed little to the state’s GSDP, while Hyderabad alone accounted for more than 60% of Telangana’s revenue.

Kishan Reddy spoke in a plan to dismiss the idea that the center is responsible for fulfilling Congress’ commitment to ensure power in Telangana. “The center is delivering on all commitments to the people,” he said.

Asked about the successor of BJP President JP NADDA, Kishan Reddy said no one in the party knew it would be a collective decision by the national leaders. He claims he contrasts with regional parties hosted by families like BRS.

Regarding demarcation and Hindi language issues, the minister claims that the DMK and Congress continue to support the BJP in the southern states. He asserted that the NDA had already taken power in Andhra Pradesh and Puducher and expressed confidence that the BJP would win if the elections were held in Telangana and Karnataka.
