Earthquake 4.2 strike Pakistan, third earthquake in a month | World News

Pakistan earthquake: According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake on the Richter scale shocked Pakistan around 4 p.m. on Monday.
In an article on social media platform X, NCS informed Pakistan of earthquakes. This is the third earthquake in neighboring countries.
The agency said: “M: 4.2, open: 05/05/2025 12:35:23 IST, LAT: 36.60 N, LONG: 71.91 E, DEPTH: 10 km, location: Afghanistan: Afghanistan.”

Earthquakes in Afghanistan and Myanmar
On the other hand, the same earthquake was recorded in Afghanistan at 12:35:23 on Monday.
Afghanistan was also hit by two other earthquakes this week. The 4.3-magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan on Saturday, with an amplitude of 4.5 on Friday. On the afternoon of May 1, an earthquake of 3.4 shocked Myanmar, which was susceptible to earthquakes.

According to ANI, shallow earthquakes are more dangerous than deeper earthquakes because they have greater energy, which causes the ground to shake more violently than deeper earthquakes and can cause greater damage to structures and casualties.
A statement from the NCS said earlier, several earthquakes shocked Myanmar. India has also expanded its help to neighboring countries.
