Visible police, night patrol in Sri Sathya Sai

The Sri Sathya Sai area has strengthened visible policing and enhanced night patrols.

The principal of police officer V. Ratna spoke to the media here on Friday (May 2) that vehicle inspections throughout the area have been intensifying over the past two weeks. “Police are giving road safety education to motorists, emphasizing the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts. Driving drunk is not tolerated while driving and overloading passengers of overloaded automatic vessels,” SP said.

Ms Ratner said night patrols have increased to improve law and order. “Special teams have been formed to conduct regular inspections at religious sites, ATMs, banks, education and commercial institutions in the area,” she said.

Meanwhile, Deputy SP (Kadiri) Shivanna Rayana Swamy initiated a special drive in the partition, focusing on night patrols and vehicle inspections. The “face washing and de-driving” drives were performed along the highway, allowing the driver to refresh themselves frequently to reduce the chance of accidents.

Surveillance has been strengthened for individuals with criminal history. SP directs police officers at the Mandal level to hold regular consultation meetings for such persons’ jurisdictions.
