Two arrested for riots and assaults on officials in Kancha Gachibowli

Police said Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Company is working on development during the No. 25 investigation by Kancha Gachibowli, police said.

Two people were arrested Sunday afternoon after protests against civil servant riots and attacks in the development of Kancha Gachibowli.

Police identified them as “former students” B. Rohit Kumar and Erram Naveen Kumar.

According to the police, Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) is working on development during the 25 investigation by Kancha Gachibowli. “At about 3.30 pm, a group of people, including UOH students and others, gathered at the scene and allegedly tried to stop work by force. At that time, the group attacked officials and workers with sticks and stones, hurting the assistant commissioner of the Madhapur Division.

Police denied allegations that the student was charged by Lathi or was forcibly removed from the hotel.

Authorities have urged students to avoid misinformation and seek solutions through official channels. They also warn that any disruption to law and order will take legal action. Two arrested persons have been remanded for judicial custody.
