Hyderabad: Volkswagen India has launched the all-new Tiguan R-Line, the brand’s flagship SUV for the Indian market.
Built on the MQB EVO platform, the new Tiguan R-Line has a new chassis generation that offers unparalleled driving power and riding experience.
Customers can better access more; Tiguan R-Line starts on April 23, 2025 with a special introduction price of INR 48.999 crore and India’s Volkswagen dealer network starts on April 23, 2025.

The new Tiguan R-Line offers a new design language. The front of the SUVW has a bold and powerful look, with LED plus headlights and glass-covered horizontal straps. It also features ‘R’ inspired 19-inch “Coventry” alloy wheels with a diamond-steered surface. The new level LED straps and rear combination lights both emphasize different rear designs. The SUV’s interior trim is a “R” insert on the front sport comfort seat, while also having the “R” logo on the dashboard. The new Tiguan R-Line is equipped with ambient lighting (30 colors), a panoramic sunroof, illuminated door handle recessed grooves, stainless steel pedals, and lighting around welcoming light.

The Tiguan R-Line is equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI EVO engine that provides 204 PS of peak power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine has been paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission with 4motion all-wheel drive capability. The Tiguan R-Line comes with DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) Pro and Vehicle Power Manager (XDS). Vehicle Dynamics Manager implements wheel-specific braking interventions and dampens, turns, and provides more neutral, stable, agile and precise cabin comfort.
