Wagh Bakri Foundation donates electric vehicles to Akshaya Patra Foundation

To support children in public schools and Anganwadis, the Wagh Bakri Foundation donated nine professional electric delivery vans to the Akshaya Patra Foundation on Wednesday. These vehicles are used to serve lunch to government primary school students and Anganwadis in Hyderabad and Nellor.

The vehicle is temperature controlled and comes with custom cubicles to transport food.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Regional President of the Akshaya Patra Foundation, said: “Wagh Bakri’s contribution will help us expand our lovers to serve more children and serve more children, and the vehicle will support our goal of promoting students to promote students.”

The CEO of Sanjay Singal of Wagh Bakri Group expressed his gratitude, saying: “We have the honor to support students through our partnership with the Akshaya Patra Foundation.”

Suma Kanakala, assistant to Wagh Bakri, praised his initiative, noting: “I am very grateful for the positive impact they have in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.”

Veeranari Chakali Llamma Women’s University is accredited by UGC

The Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University of Koti has been officially recognized by the University Grants Committee (UGC) under Article 2(f) of the UGC Act of 1956.

In April 2022, the state government announced that the Coty Women’s College was the first women’s university in the state. In 2024, the Congress passed the Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University Act.

With UGC accreditation, the university is now eligible for academic and research grants, which marks a major milestone in promoting women’s education in Telangana.

The Women’s University Administration expressed gratitude to all officials, faculty and students for recognition.

V. Hanumantha Rao urges Modi to introduce BC booking bill in parliament

TPCC senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, asking him to consider introducing the B.C. booking bill in parliament so that communities and Muslims can benefit.
Rao said the BJP led the NDA government to distribute “Ramzan Tofa” to Muslims across the country without raising questions about religious issues. However, the government opposed reservations to Muslims, saying the constitution does not allow religious-based quotas.
