Officials said a moderate-intensity earthquake had an earthquake of 3.4 on the Richter scale, hitting Mandi district in Himaal Pradesh on Sunday (April 13, 2025).
The Metropolitan Office said the depth of the earthquake hit near Mandy town at 9:18 a.m. and was 5 km away.
It said the epicenter is located at 31.49 degrees latitude and 76.94 degrees in the Mandy area.
So far, no damage to life and property has been reported anywhere in the state. The Mandy area belongs to Earthquake Zone 5, which is a high-risk area for damage.
