Anbumani Ramadoss says I will continue to be the president of PMK

A few days after PMK founder S. Ramadoss removed his son Anbumani Ramadoss from the party chairmanship, the latter said on Saturday that he would continue to perform the party’s presidential duties, and his most important duty was to form a strong alliance under the guidance of Dr. Ramadoss.

In a long-awaited letter to party cadres, Dr. Anbumani urged the various organs of PMK and its office veterans to ensure the success of the party’s Chithirai Full Moon meeting in Mahabalipuram and strengthened the party for the upcoming 2026 elections in the state.

He added: “In terms of elections in the state assembly, building a strong alliance that our cadres want will be the most important responsibility. We will do this at the right time and do it in a way that makes everyone happy.”

Dr Anbumani stressed that he was formally elected as President of the PMK by members of the party’s general council on May 28, 2022 in the presence of Dr Ramadoss. “The Indian Election Commission also endorsed this. I will continue to serve as the party president. I am determined to achieve Dr. Ramados’ goal of establishing the party and why I became the president of the party.”

He further said that organizing the Chithirai full moon meeting was a 12-year dream. “I was appointed by Dr. Ramdos as the Director of the Organizing Committee for the Conference. It is our responsibility to all of us to ensure that this committee is successful. [for the conference] He said: “All offices are urged to compete to run to mobilize cadres to participate in the event.

Dr. Anbumani said he had two important goals in front of him. “One, successfully organize the meeting. Two to ensure [hitherto] The party has unseen success in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the state. ”

He reiterated that his primary duty was to guide the party to achieve Dr. Ramados’ political goals and to add glory to the name of his leader.
