Karnataka: CM Siddaramaiah declared Rs 1 million as family of three men, died in terrorist attack, blamed intelligence failure on intelligence failure

State Labor Minister Santosh Lad and a team of officials coordinated efforts to transport the body to Karnataka and hand it over to family members in Kashmir on Wednesday. The minister said the bodies were brought back by special flights.
Rao’s body will arrive in Shivamogga on Thursday.
Tejasvi Surya, a MP in southern Bengaluru in Kashmir, said Madhusudan’s deadly remains will be taken to his homeland in Andhra Pradesh. BJP Yuva Morcha said victims at airports across the country will receive mortal remains.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah told media people in Bengaluru that the state government will do its best to provide support for victim families.
Intellectual failure
CM blamed the Pahalgam terrorist attack on the failure of intelligence from central agencies. He told the media in Bangalore that in chats with the media, he said that the Federation government must do his best to provide security for people while eliminating terrorists. “When the so-called Chanakia Home Minister is busy overthrowing the government, breaking political parties and manipulating elections, that’s what happened. Where is the intelligence? Where is the surveillance?” Kharge Jr said in a statement.
The IT/BT minister added: “In both cases, whether it is #Pulwama or #Pahalgam, security errors are marked in advance. Both are ignored. It is shocking that the BJP government has cut more than 1.8 million Army personnel since Covid savings.”
