Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister MK Stalin will open on April 6, 2025 at Pamban Rail Bridge in Pamban, Ramswaran Island.
PM Modi will remotely operate the bridge from Pamban’s vertical lifting mechanism and flags at the Rameswaram-Tambaram Express and the Coast Guard’s inauguration, marking the inauguration of the new Pamban Rail Bridge and its vertical lifts, the first vertical lift in the country in the country.
The statement added that after visiting the famous Rameswaram Temple in Jyotirlinga, the Prime Minister will address the public gathering, formally working on the Pamban Bridge, and conducting many national road projects to the country.
Mr. Modi will also lay the foundation for the four-year river in the Walajahpet/Ranipet section of the NH 40.
The statement said he will also dedicate to the Viluppuram-Puducherry section of the NH 332, the Poondiyankuppam-Sattanathapuram part of the NH 32, and the four-type laned cholapuram-thanjavur part of the NH 36.
