Now, this biopic about the lives of 19th-century social reformers Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule have been opposed by Brahmin groups, resulting in delays in their release. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released on April 11, the Mahatma ox thaphule on its 199th birthday. However, after CBFC suggested modifying the original scenes in the film, the filmmaker decided to postpone the release. Through its struggle with the caste system, BiOPC demonstrates several established facts about the couple’s life that played a groundbreaking role in the 19th century.
