Pahalgam’s brutal killing wraths the Indians, with many films playing demanding a ban on the upcoming film Abir Gulaal, which calls for the ban on Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor.

The Pahalgam terrorist attack shocked and saddened every Indian. Citizens have been angry with the brutal killing of 26 innocent people and several other brutal wounded murders, who are now demanding a ban on the release of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s Indian romantic comedy Abir Gulaal. The film marks Fawad’s comeback to Indian cinemas after 2016’s Ae Dil hai Mushkil, opposite Vaani Kapoor.

At first glance, Abir Gulaal was caught in controversy with the political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, publishing protests against the release of the film. With Pahalgam’s terrible attack, the film is now within the scope of angry netizens and moviegoers who demand that the release of the film be banned. Several netizens went to X (formerly Twitter) and shared their dissatisfaction. “Will we still allow the release of this movie?” Another netizen wrote, “Boycott Abir Gular. Pakistani actors are not popular in Bharat!” One netizen wrote, “Fawad Khan is a Pakistani actor. These Bollywoodias are shameless creatures. Boycott the movie. He will make money and use the money for horror funds.” An internet user wrote, “No theater should dare to screen #Abirgulaal. Indian GOI should stop streaming providers from streaming in India. A lesson to Bollywood church is needed this time.”

As early as 2016, a similar pattern was discovered. A month ago at Fawad Khan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the URI attack occurred, and even then, some people opposed the release of the film. Many netizens are similar to these incidents. One of the internet users wrote: “The last time was Ae Dil hai Muskil.. There was a URI attack just a week before the release. Abir Gulaal was touted as a cross-border romantic comedy directed by Aarti S Bagdi.
