Weather in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane: Temperatures drop in Australia this weekend as winter chills spread across the country

Millions of people on Australia’s east coast can expect a cold, wet and windy weekend in an unwelcome preview of the unwelcome winter shop.

Cold weather will affect the eastern part of New South Wales and Queensland, while Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania will also be hit by cold.
