Reddit users shared images of the product to support their claims. They claimed they ordered 600 grams of grapes from Blinkit a few weeks ago. But after realizing that the bag of grapes they received was “suspiciously light”, they weighed it and found it was only 370 grams.
Initially, the client decided to let it go and see it as a “one-time mistake.” “I let it treat it as a one-time error,” the user wrote in a post on Reddit. But, the same thing happened to them again last week.
This time, the grape bag weighs 395 grams, which includes the weight of the package. “I don’t think it’s accidental, but a thoughtful way to deceive customers,” the user said. They shared, “Please don’t blindly trust Blinkit… Only when absolutely necessary, use Blinkit and double-check everything to make sure you don’t get scammed.”

The post attracted the attention of Q-Commerce, which apologized for the difference. “We fully understand your uneasy experience with us. We want to identify and correct differences in weight, packaging and product quality,” commented Blinkit.
The company also requires customers to have their order ID and registered mobile number to help them solve the problem.

Another user shared their own experience and wrote: “I ordered a Pepsi to work with another item from Blinkit because I saw a purchase one with a logo on it. When ordering, only one Pepsi could. I complained and got the Pepsi that was returned in full because Blinkit didn’t have a detailed Chatbot response and we could choose the exact question.”
