Weird weather with snowfall, hail wreaked havoc on apple orchards in Kashmir

Fresh snowfall and hail upstream combined with gusts of wind, gusts on the plains caused damage to apple orchards in parts of the Kashmir Valley on Saturday (19 April 2025). Meanwhile, the cold waves caught the valley due to the snowfall in early summer.

I strongly urge the government to introduce subsidized anti-tax nets in an initiative in Himaal Pradesh. We must protect our gardening and stand before our farmers in front of our farmers,” Mr Shah said.
