Suryavanshi swept the world of cricket, scoring 101 in just 38 balls and occupying his century in just 35 balls, becoming the youngest T20 Centurion to 14 and 32 days in a match against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Jaipur on Monday.
Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is in awe of the 14-year-old, calling his ability to “be fearless method, bat speed” and “choose length early”.

In the 210 runs, fans were hit by a mentally clean shot by Vaibhav, who scored 101 in just 38 balls, had seven fours and 11 sixes. His running rate is 265.79.
Vaibhav is the fastest 35 goals in IPL history to reach his century, second only to Chris Gayle’s 30-to-ton with the now-extinct Pune Warriors India for Pune Warriors India for Royal Challenge bengaluru (RCB) in 2013 back in 2013. Vaibhav is also now the fastest Indian in IPL.
Lefty, 14 years and 32 days, is the youngest player to score in T20 cricket history, surpassing Vijay Zol, who scored a century against Mumbai in 2013 and a century for Maharashtra in 2013.
It was also the seventh century of T20 cricket, the fastest was Estonia’s Sahil Chauhan against Cyprus in 2024 with only 27 goals.
Suryavanshi also reached his fifty goals in just 17 goals, the fifth best in league history, making him the youngest in IPL fifties.
Additionally, the 166-point stance between Vaibhav and Yashasvi Jaiswal is the highest wicket partnership for any of Rajasthan Royals, surpassing Jos Buttler & Devdutt Padikkal’s 155 in Wankhede’s DC in 2022.
Vaibhav slammed Shardul Thakur with his first ball against Shardul Thakur, who averaged 75.50 games and a strike rate of 222.05 in three games, with a score of 101*.
One of the biggest surprises during last year’s IPL’s massive auction was Suryavanshi becoming a 110 crore rupees royal. Vaibhav was born in Bihar on March 27, 2011 and is the youngest player on the roster. He made his debut in Bihar in January 2024, in just 12 years and 284 days.
