Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh shared his “cold reaction” from Emraan Hashmi in the 2008 film Jannat.

The 2008 romantic crime thriller Jannat starred in Emraan Hashmi, Sonal Chauhan, Javed Sheikh, Samir Kochhar and Vishal Malhotra among others. When Emraan played Arjun Dixit and was involved in the world of cricket, Pakistani actor Javed played the bets from Dawood Ibrahim.
When Javed recently appeared with Omer Shahzad and Arsala on AAJ Entertainment’s YouTube channel, Javed revealed that Emraan performed well in South Africa’s films. The Pakistani actor recalled his experience in filming and said: “Mahesh Bhatt was the producer and asked the new director Deshmukh to direct the project. When I signed the project, he explained the whole plot to me, but I had the opportunity to meet Emraan Hashmi with Emraan Hashmi.”
Javed added that he was shocked when he met Emraan at the Newlands Cricket Stadium in South Africa. He shared, “I tried to shake hands with him but noticed a very cold reaction around him. He shook hands contemptuously and even threw his face away, which really made me angry. I thought, “Like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Salman Khan” I rehearsed when he (Emraan) came, but I didn’t even go to see him when we finished the filming.
The 70-year-old veteran actor Javed Sheikh has worked in several Bollywood films such as Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Om Shanti Om (2007), Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Namastey’s London (2007), Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s Tamasha (2015), among others.
