White Lotus Season 4 Release Date
HBO has renewed White Lotus in its fourth season. The decision was reportedly aired in early January (even in the month before season 3), which gave the network confidence in the show’s continued success. However, the exact release date for the new season is not yet clear. Earlier, White told the Hollywood Reporter that the scouts had not started yet and that after three years of uninterrupted work, he was in desperate need of rest. According to previous release schedules – Season 1 is in summer 2021, Season 2 of Fall 2022 and Season 3 of early 2025 – Season 4 may not arrive until the end of 2026.
White Lotus Season 4 Location: From Thailand to…Next?
The first few seasons were set in Hawaii and Sicily, and the third season moved to Thailand. While the location for Season 4 is not yet completed, executive producer David Bernad hints that this is likely to be in a warm climate, noting that creator Mike White is not cold. Thailand was originally chosen as Japan due to tax benefits, and this factor could also affect the next environment.
Interestingly, White explores unconventional locations including Norway and even contacts the Norwegian Film Academy. However, there are no four seasons of resorts (staples from past seasons) and the cold climate in the area can be deal-breaking. Still, HBO executive Francesca Orsi teased the possibility of the European environment.

Meredith Tucker reportedly said there was no official cast. Meanwhile, some reports say there could be an “All-Star season” that will reunite popular characters in early installments.
Every season of White Lotus introduces a new actor, although several characters reappear. Belinda (Natasha Roswell) and Greg (Jon Gries) return in Season 3, and the storyline may continue. Patrick Schwarzenegger, who played the Saxon in Season 3, hints at the concept of “All-Star” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Creator Mike White shows enthusiasm for the character’s crossover, while HBO CEO Casey Bloys muses: “Maybe Molly Shannon’s character and Victoria Ratliff know each other? There’s a lot of connection between all these terrifying people.”
