Home Secretary G. Parameshwara said the government will not murder anyone in the Dakshina Kannada area on Thursday night. “We have formed four special teams and those responsible for the murder will be arrested and booked soon. No matter who it is, no matter which party they may belong to, we will not waste them.”
He further said that while Dakshina Kannada district and Mangaluru city slowly returned to normal, recent mob cases, now murders have undermined the issue.
“I call on Dakshina Kannada to maintain peace. We will ensure that such incidents are not repeated. I have attributed our ADGP (law and order) to Mangaluru. We have also deployed more force to ensure peace in the region.”
The allegations of opposition leader R. Ashok and other BJP leaders are not safe under the Congressional regime, and Dr. Parameshwara hits such analysis. He asked, “We are not Hindus in Congress.”
