Pawan thanks CM Naidu for Fisherfolk assistance

Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan announced that the NDA government has fulfilled its polls by increasing economic relief to fishermen during the fishing ban. The amount has been raised from the first Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000, benefiting from Rs 1.29 crore, totaling Rs 2.59 crore.
Deputy CM expressed gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for the decision ensuring that fishermen who rely on fishing as their primary source of livelihoods are protected during the two-month ban. Pawan Kalyan announced that in addition to economic relief, the government is considering providing alternative sources of employment to fishermen who have moved to work during the ban.
In another development, the Deputy CM instructed the Chief Conservator of Forests to use state-of-the-art technology to establish special working groups to track elephant movements.
