Quenching the thirst of animals and birds in hot summer

Two volunteer organizations have joined hands to provide success for birds and animals, which is hard to beat the hot summer and heatwave conditions.

Tirupati’s animal care land is tied to Bangalore’s NGO water, providing 180 large water bowls for silent water, to the stray animals and birds of Tirupati.

Sixty-two selected volunteers were identified for this task, and these volunteers were handed over to 180 water bowls for installation in various locations. TTD Trust Committee member G. Bhanuprakash Reddy recently officially announced the project to open and called on every citizen to assume responsibility for providing water to surrounding animals.

Its public relations officials said WFV has distributed hundreds of thousands of water bowls across the country as part of the pan-India initiative.

As temperatures rise and water supply decreases, stray dogs may see changes in temperament, which may lead to instances of dog bites, Assistant Director of Breeding Office NV Sreekanth babu was warned.

Veterinarian Yagna Valkya, animal lover and volunteers of the animal care land, received bowls to be installed in strategic locations to eliminate thirst from stray animals and birds.
