Former Meta executive Sarah Wynn-Williams claims the large tech company shared user data with China, detailing U.S. achievements in artificial intelligence (AI). Williams also claimed the company’s move was to expand its business. She also previously claimed Meta’s close relationship with China in data use. She was formerly the head of global public policy at Meta (formerly Facebook), who claimed the company misled its employees, shareholders, Congress and the general public in its communication with the Chinese Communist Party, and warned of actions that led to security violations in the country.

Sarah Wynn Williams’ testimony in the U.S. Senate

When asked if Facebook would like to share user data with China in the U.S. Senate, she testified that it did. “Facebook is desperately trying to stop the witness from telling her what he knows,” said U.S. Senator Josh Hawley. Hawley called Facebook “one of the most powerful companies in the world”, saying “it has nothing to prevent this testimony” and “trying to fight” to prevent this situation.

The senator also told the Senate that top brass and Sheryl Sandberg of companies, including Mark Zuckerberg, not only “stop her telling them about their relationship with China, but also sued her and sought cuttings against her and begging the court to take her books off the shelves and stop printing.”

“One of the challenges of serving markets like China and China is that the internet infrastructure will support this,” Sarah said. She further said the service will be slow, so the “popular service” proposed by the company is a technology data center that brings data closer to the end user. She further explained that there is a major problem with the service because it is impossible to isolate the data to Chinese, all of which will be used in China.

Therefore, the Senate concluded that Facebook (aka META) is “willing to damage the data of American users and make profits all.”

Sarah’a’s allegations against Mark Zuckerberg

Sarah Wynn also tells us that Meta constantly targets teenagers with specific ads based on their emotional state.

Sarah Wynn-Williams had previously filed a 78-page complaint to the SEC, accusing Meta of developing a censorship system for China in 2015 and willing to share its data force with the Communist Party.

In her book The Careless Man, she called CEO Mark Zuckerberg and former COO Sheryl Sandberg “careless” and claimed the CEO was willing to share user data with China, who harassed her. She was a senior executive of Yuanzhong from 2011 to 2017, the year she was asked to leave.
