Will the Islamic state join the war between Pakistan and India? What will Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Türkiye, Iran do?

If the war between India and Pakistan breaks out after the Pahargham terrorist attack, what could Islamic countries have, the UAE, Türkiye and Iran do? Will they occupy one side of Islamabad in the name of Ummah or Muslim global communities?

If the war between India and Pakistan breaks out after the Pahargan terrorist attack, what might Islamic countries have, the UAE, Türkiye and Iran do? Will they occupy Islamabad in the name of Ummah (Ummah) (the global community of Muslims, united in their shared belief and dedication to Allah)? Or will Muslim countries cultivate their economic and geopolitical interests by maintaining equal distances and limit their support for Pakistan to speech? Most importantly, their responses may vary and will be based on their national interests, alliances and internal motivations.

If one person looks at the war that the two countries have already fought, it is obvious that Islam is not an important factor, and this country sent to India in the name of Islam has not received support from the Islamic state. I

1947 – 48 Years of War

The first Indian-Pakistan war that began on October 22, 1947 was that Islamabad sent troops to Kashmir in the costumes of Pashtun tribe warriors, and did not consolidate the Islamic world in the name of religion. Nothing happens unless it is obtained from moral and diplomatic support from some Muslim majority states, and Pakistan has no military support from any country.

The War of 1965

The war began on April 24, 1965, when Pakistani troops attacked India in Lann, Kuch. Islamic countries like Iran and Türkiye do nothing except express solidarity with Pakistan. Their support is limited to diplomatic statements and has no military assistance.

Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971

The war to give birth to a new country began on December 3, 1971, and on December 16, 1971 to liberate Bangladesh. Jordan sent fighter jets to Pakistan, Saudi Arabia was limited to rhetoric.

1999 Cargill Conflict

India and Pakistan fought against the Kagir conflict that began on May 3 and ended on July 26, 1999, when India allowed Pakistan to retreat. Most Islamic countries urge dialogue and restraint, and no one provides any help to Islamabad.

Analysts believe that this situation would not have changed dramatically if the Indian-Pakistan war broke out now.

Saudi Arabia

Riyadh has conducted deep public, economic and strategic cooperation with Islamabad, which deployed its forces in Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom has provided billions of dollars in loans to Pakistan. But Saudi Arabia has a deeper and broader interest in India, and it plans to invest $100 billion to diversify its economy and then dry up in oil wells. Riyadh may provide diplomatic assistance, negotiate and support Islamabad’s proposals in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. No military help is expected.

United Arab Emirates

Abu Dhabi has announced plans to invest billions in India to diversify its oil economy. It may try to reduce tension between the two countries without any help.

Iran

Tehran has shown its intentions by sending Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to Pakistan and India for negotiations and reducing tensions. He is now in Islamabad and most likely to arrive in India on Wednesday. It can provide rhetoric and diplomatic assistance to Islamabad. India is developing the harbour in Chabahar and other projects are available. Although Iran has provided railway and heat projects to China, it should not do anything that could endanger India's interests.

turkey

Analysts believe Ankara is helping Pakistan with an intention to improve its position in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation or the Organization of Islamic Conference. The 57-member group is dominated by Saudi Arabia and Iran. Türkiye hopes to strengthen its position by claiming support for an Islamic state. After the rise of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Türkiye quickly moved towards radical Islam. The Turkish president now cultivates ambition to become Uma or the Islamic world. Pahalgam attack gave him this opportunity.

Türkiye, a NATO member state, signed a $75 million deal to upgrade 41 F-16 fighters in Pakistan. It also provides advanced target pods for Pakistan's JF-17 jets and electronic warfare training range. Türkiye’s drone maker Baykar signed an agreement with Pakistan’s National Aerospace Science & Technology Park in 2023 to jointly develop drones. In early 2022, it provided Pakistan with the battle-tested Bayraktar TB-2 drone. Türkiye is most likely to support Pakistan and provide more military hardware.

The European Commission may issue a symbolic resolution, but collective action is extremely unlikely. Historical precedents and current dynamics suggest that Pakistan will receive moral and diplomatic support and that it must fight alone.
