CM opens “Ente Keralam” Expo and National Saras Mela in Kozhikode

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan actually unveiled the “Ente Keralam” expo, celebrating four years of the current Left Democratic Front (LDF) government, and Saturday (May 3, 2025) in the country Saras Mela in Kozhikode Beach. Mela begins on Friday (May 2, 2025).

The Chief Minister said during this period that more than 3.5 million new businesses have been launched in Kerala under the “Samrambhaka Varsham” plan, proving that the state is business-friendly.

“We need to move forward through opportunities that do not require a lot of capital but ensure good returns,” the chief minister said. He praised Kudumbashree as the backbone of Kerala’s development and local entrepreneurship, noting that the state government has set aside Rs 27 billion for Kudumbashree in its budget.

The government is implementing projects that ordinary people need and that it has been able to connect with all parts of society through development activities, said Pa Mohamed Riyas, Minister of Tourism and Public Works.

Forests and Wildlife AK Saseendran is a guest of honor. Mlas Thottathil Raveendran, Ahamed Devarkovil, Ek Vijayan, Pta Rahim, Kunhahammed Kutty Master, KM Sachin Dev and Linto Joseph, Menoor Beana Philip and Princephant Phanchayat President Sheeja Sasi were present.

Previously, as part of the event, a colorful parade featuring Sinkarimelam, skating performances, Tableaux, Zumba Dance, Kolkali, Kolkali and Thira were as part of the event. The parade begins at Mananchira and ends at the beach Liberty Square where the exhibition is held.

The fair consists of approximately 200 stalls in various government departments. National Saras Mela, hosted by Kudumbashree, is home to women’s self-service group stalls across the country. Both fairs will end on May 12.
