Wolverhampton-Bangalore Research and Innovation Center is open in Bangalore

Karnataka Higher Education Minister Dr Mc Sudhakar was unveiled on April 22 at the Wolf Hampton-Bangalore Research Centre (WBRIC) in the newly established Academic Bureau (BCU) in Bangalore City.
Dr. Sudhakar stressed his potential to open up new academic and research avenues for Karnataka students, highlighting the government’s commitment to supporting higher education and research in public universities.
Professor Suresh Renukappa, director of the centre, said the centre will focus on climate resilience, health care, smart cities and villages, energy security, waste-to-sanitation planning, pollution control and the Bangalore brand initiative.
Professor Prashant Pillai, Vice President of the University of Wolverhampton, mentioned in his keynote that the center will promote academic exchange programs, joint PhD opportunities, seminars and conferences to promote international academic cooperation.
Professor Ebrahim Adia, Vice President of Wolfhampton University, stressed the importance of historical academic relations between India and the United Kingdom. He emphasized the value of this international cooperation.
