Woman finds death in suspicious situation in Adugodi

A 44-year-old woman was identified as Hema, found dead in her residence in Nanjappa, Adugodi. Her family claimed she was murdered by her husband and accused him of having an affair and maintained a house for another nearby woman.
According to Hema’s family, she had previously revealed her husband’s so-called affair and even committed suicide in January. They claimed the fierce argument between the couple could have led to her murder.
However, Herma’s husband denied the allegations and asserted that she died of suicide, allegedly due to concerns about her daughter’s education.
“Contradicting his claims, Hema’s family said no one actually saw her body hanging and they suspected she was fouled after the body in the hospital,” one police officer said.
Hema’s daughter, who had studied in Russia, returned to Bengaluru on Monday and gave her final ceremony at the Adugodi Crematorium.
Meanwhile, police have registered cases of suspicious deaths and are awaiting an autopsy report to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation is underway.
