Woman rowing on Toddy on RTC bus after being forced to get out

Nalgonda: This week, viral videos on social media sparked a debate as a woman was forced to carry a hosted bottle on a TGSRTC bus. The incident occurred on Suryapet-Nalgonda Express in Nakrekal.
The passenger, a resident of Madharam, Shaligowraram Mandal, boarded the bus at the Indira Gandhi bus stop in Nakrekal, carrying a bag containing two bottles of Toddy. When the conductor noticed the odor, he checked her belongings, found the bottle, and instructed her to disembark on the bypass road outside the town. Because she has not purchased the ticket yet, she has not been officially recorded as a passenger.
The woman was irritated by the order, hindering the departure of the bus as it stood in front of the order and demanded to know who issued the order to ban Toddy of the TGSRTC vehicle. She explained that the Todi intends to hold a birthday celebration in Katangul, and drinking is a family tradition. After a five-minute standoff, the road patrol officers intervened and convinced her to keep the bus going.
Social media users are divided into divisions on this issue. Some users supported the woman’s challenge to bus rules and called on TGSRTC Managing Director S. Sajjanar to clarify whether travelers can bring Tody. Others believe that commands act appropriately in accordance with company regulations.
Nalgonda Regional Manager Jhan Reddy clarified the policy, saying that passengers are not allowed to transport Toddy to their buses under TGSRTC rules. He confirmed that the conductor's actions comply with these regulations.
