A 35-year-old woman was strangled to death on Monday (April 14, 2025) in Kenichira, near Panamiram, Wenard area, allegedly her husband. The victim was identified as Manchira Lisha.
Her husband, Jilson, 42, tried to commit suicide after being taken to Kozod Medical College Hospital allegedly. The incident happened early in the morning. Their two children are at home, too.
Police sources said it was some financial problems that led to the shocking incident. They said the woman was strangled to death with a charging cable.
It was a group of locals who noticed some weird social media messages that took Gilson to the hospital. Sources said he had a deep cut on his wrist.
