Colonel Singh Gill has all the characteristics of a true soldier who saw almost every possible situation of war, facing them bravely every season and all kinds of enemies, and facing them with heroism, discipline, courage and willingness to face them for honor on the battlefield. Colonel Jill is the only Indian in all three branches of the Indian Defence Force – the Indian Air Force, the Indian Navy and the Indian Army. Colonel Singh’s defense career
Colonel Jill was born in Patiala in 1920, a former princely country in the British era and a deeply rooted family. Singh joined the Indian Air Force at the age of 22 in 1942 and did not tell his family. World War II was in progress, and he was trained in Karachi and competed after the British flew in an axial force aircraft. But after his father expressed concern about the dangers of flying, he quickly left the Air Force.
After that, Gill joined the Royal Indian Navy in 1943. There, he worked on a minesweeper for five years. When the war broke out, he even carried out dangerous actions, such as escorting cargo ships on the ocean. He had to leave the Navy due to lung problems after filling the water.
After serving in the Indian Navy, he turned to the Indian Army in 1951, where he served as a gunman for the Artillery Corps. During the Indian-Pakistan period in 1965, he was the commander of the 71st Legion in the brutal Sialkot division, an extreme and powerful battlefield. He then transferred to Manipur’s Assam rifle as the department commander.
