World Safety Day: Trangana workers, managers urge strengthening industrial safety regulations

On Monday, in the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium, the safety helmet was metaphorically secured and the seat belts were tightened as about 800 factory managers, employees and workers from all over Telangana formed “safety and health at work”.

The factory department of the Telangana government, in collaboration with the Telangana chapter of the National Security Council, held the event, which was filled with serious purpose and some dramatic talent.

Workers at the communication and distribution systems of Singaporeni Collieries, Natco Pharma, Apitoria Limited, Bhel and Toshiba performed on the safety theme of the workplace.

The Chairman of the responsibility B. Rajagopala Rao, Director of the Factory and Chairman of the Telangana Branch of the National Security Council. He stressed that attaching importance to life should be the backbone of industrial culture. He pointed out that if accidents are to be avoided, the understanding of workplace risks cannot be negotiated. He further said that the department and the council have been working together to hammer the safety and health foundations of factories in the state.

Y. Mohan Babu, the factory co-chief inspector, urged factory managers to use artificial intelligence to eliminate hazards before contributing to mature disasters. “If machines get smarter, security strategies can also get smarter,” he said.

The event also saw Sadanandam Goud, Vice-Chairman of the National Security Council, Pervelli Hemchandra of Newarland Laboratory, Sanjay Chaturvedi of Apitolia Ltd., Shuichiro Marumoto of Toshiba Communication and Distribution Systems from Muralidhar Reddy of Honor Laboratory, and Muralidhar Reddy of Honor Officer.
