Pan-Indian star Yash, known for the blockbuster “kgf”, will be filmed next week in Mumbai’s “Ramayana Part 1”. To show his auspicious beginnings in this mythological epic journey, Yash will first visit the respected Shree Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain for divine blessings.

The film also starred in Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor and actress Sai Pallavi. Yash starts every new movie project through a temple visit. This time, his visit to the temple marks a symbolic moment, with Raavan as the actor in “Ramayana Part 1” and a devotee to Mahadev.

In addition to playing a key role, Yash also co-produced the film under his banner with Malhota’s Prime Focus Studios. As a hands-on co-producer, he has been working closely with the team on all aspects of an ambitious project and plans to shoot his own scenes starting from the end of April.

Producer Namit Malhotra is supporting the film epic, which is considered the most ambitious mythological epic in Indian cinemas to date. Hosted by acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and has a wealth of storytelling, cutting-edge technology and cinematic vision, the film aims to redefine the mythical genre for audiences around the world.

“Ramayana Part 1” will be released on Diwali 2026, followed by “Ramayana Part 2” on Diwali 2027. Meanwhile, Yash has “toxic: A fairy tale adult”. The film’s producer recently shared that the film will arrive in the theater on March 19, 2026.

As the first large-scale Indian project conceptualized, written and filmed in Kannada and English, “a toxic blend of culture and continent. The film will be called dubbing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages. The film is hosted by Geetu Mohandas, who is known for her emotionally resonant cinema.
