Yatnal calls for rewards for expulsion from BJP

“The party expelled me for six years for opposing dynasty politics, corruption and single-person rhetoric and demanded development in North Karnataka. The party rewarded me with “called me a spade spade”. Some vested interests played a role in successfully promoting the agenda,” Yatnal said.
Yatnal reiterated his commitment to public service, asserting that the act of expulsion will not stop his struggle against corruption, family politics and Hinduism. He added: “I will continue to serve my people in the same way as vigor and tenacity.” He cites the boundaries of the poet Purandara Dasa, suggesting challenges faced by those who represent truth and justice, which means his expulsion is the result of his blunt position.
Meanwhile, Vijayendra’s BJP national president called the expulsion a “unfortunate necessity” while reaffirming the party’s firm commitment to discipline and ideology. He stressed that the BJP, recognized as the world’s largest political organization, has developed according to the principles of dedication and commitment of its core values, shaped by the sacrifice of its karyakartas and the guidance of Sangh Parivar.
“Never, nor any compromise on discipline and ideology – Our respected senior leaders firmly insisted on the disciplinary action against Basanagouda Patil Yatnal after a thorough review of the latest developments within the party, but unfortunately, it was unfortunate,”
He clarified that he had neither formally nor verbally expressed his dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership. Vijayendra, from his father and senior BJP leader BS Yediyurappa, stressed his commitment to strengthening the party and promoting unity in Karyakartas.
He added: “Despite the turmoil over the past few days, I have chosen to uphold the value of our selfless organizations instilling sacrifice and dedication. My determination remains to cultivate the politics of trust and to enhance the politics of the organization by enhancing the capabilities of each Karikata.”
Vijayendra also reiterated his dedication to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for “Viksit Bharat” and called for collective efforts to promote the party’s goals in Karnataka.
Yatnal’s expulsion marked a major political restructuring within Karnataka BJP, which had an impact on the internal dynamics of the party and future election strategies.
