The bombs are starting to drop.” Goldberg was included in the Signal Group, an open source messaging application with a privacy focus. He was joined by Michael Waltz, the national security adviser to President Donald Trump, according to the Atlantic Story published Monday.
According to Goldberg, the discussion included “details of the operational strike on Yemen, including information about the target, weapons that the United States will deploy, and information about attack sequencing.” At some point, it also included information such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Goldberg claimed that the explosion was discovered within two hours of texts received by government authorities in a group chat.
“The world discovered that the United States was bombing Houthi targets in Yemen before 2pm Eastern Time on March 15. But, I know, two hours before the first bomb explosion could have exploded, I knew that it could have happened. I know this was the weapon and its information on the weapon that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth texted me at 11:44 AM.
