The Vatican announced that Pope Francis died a few hours after his last public appearance.
After the announcement, Bells was in the church tower in Rome, the church of Domus Santa Marta where Francis lives was announced by Cardinal Kevin Ferrell (Vatican Camerlengo).
“At 7:35 this morning, Roman Bishop Francis returned to his father’s house. He devoted his life to serving Jehovah and his church.”
