Actress Ananya Pandey talks about how she faces her body because she is too thin and later humiliated by natural curves, which shows that women are often judged.
The actress is in conversation with YouTuber and social media influencer Lilly Singh. The video was shared on Instagram where Ananya heard him say, “You can never win. I was 18 and 19 years old and I was really thin, I was really thin, and everyone was happy about it.”
Ananya says she is growing up and her body is “filled” and she is still under trial.
“They’re like, oh, she can’t do her job, or she does this. So you can never win. People will have something to say and criticize that.”
She stresses how movies set unrealistic beauty standards. “We’ve set unrealistic beauty standards in the movie…you’re all beautiful, wake up in the morning and your hair is done, that’s not right.”
