Young people in Hyderabad are at risk

Hyderabad: Among young people in Hyderabad, stroke cases are alarming, with one in seven stroke patients aged between 25 and 45 years old – never intervening and rehabilitation. In addressing this growing concern, HCAH is the first and only provider in Hyderabad, with a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) team who has an exclusive roundtable discussion on the importance of early rehabilitation in stroke recovery.
HCAH pioneered the introduction of a well-trained, professional PMR team to ensure stroke patients receive personalized multidisciplinary care from experts in AI-Driven Equipment supported by experts in neurorehabilitation, physical therapy and advanced stroke recovery techniques. Discussions highlight that early recovery is key to preventing long-term disability, reducing health care costs, and integrating cutting-edge technologies such as robotics and AI for better patient outcomes.
Although strokes are often associated with older people, the population of young people is increasingly at risk due to lifestyle factors, alcohol consumption, high stress levels, poor diet and lack of physical exercise. However, despite medical advances, only 25% of the population in India can use stroke employment hospitals, while many patients do not intervene in time.
Dr. Naveen Mehrotra, chief neurosurgeon at Kims Sunshine Hospitals, Hyderabad, and Dr. Ananth Egoor of Neurosurgeon, consultant at Somajiguda Yashoda Hospitals, highlighted the urgent need for public respect and structural rehabilitation, “Only one stage can recover through the stage; rehabilitation comes naturally, but without structured neuroinhabitation, they face a high risk of permanent disability and provide differences in dedicated rehabilitation teams and advanced technology that can regain independence or permanently rely on caregivers.
HCAH’s integrated PMR program is designed to provide timely and coordinated well-rehabilitation programs to ensure the best care for stroke survivors, Dr. Aastik Bhatt, a leading expert in neurorehabilitation and rehabilitation (PMR) at HCAH HYDERABAD, highlights the need to expand recovery services:
“Timely rehabilitation is crucial for stroke recovery, but many centers are still inaccessible or unavailable. At HCAH, we have established a dedicated PMR team that integrates AI-driven rehabilitation tools and robot-assisted therapy to provide precise, customized treatments. This ensures that each type of training patient’s multidisciplinary, multidisciplinary training requires multidisciplinary training to provide you with multiple parenting needs.’’
Dr. Gaurav Thukral, co-founder and COO of HCAH, strengthens HCAH’s commitment to stroke rehabilitation, accessibility and innovation: “Early rehabilitation should not be a privilege, but a standard practice in healthcare. The PMR team, by integrating AI-driven recovery programs and robotic rehabilitation solutions, is setting new benchmarks for stroke care and rehabilitation faster and more efficiently with patients.”
With AI-driven treatment plans and robotic rehabilitation solutions, stroke recovery is becoming increasingly accurate, efficient and patient-centered. These technologies help motion function recovery, track real-time progress and adapt dynamically to optimize results.
Dr. Vijay Janagama added: “Robot-assisted therapy is changing stroke rehabilitation by improving exercise accuracy, reducing recovery time and providing personalized treatment plans. AI-driven tools continuously evaluate patients’ progress and fine-tune treatments, making rehabilitation more effective than ever.”
The roundtable was held with a strong call for healthcare providers, policy makers and the public to recognize the urgent need for early stroke rehabilitation and advanced medical interventions.
Hyderabad has seen a rapid increase in stroke cases, and HCAH remains committed to transforming stroke recovery through expert care, cutting-edge technology and rehabilitation methods of patient recovery.
