“You’re Tamili, are you?” Nikhil Kamath shocked Aravind Srinivas to reveal that he was the first engineer in his family

Confused CEO Aravind Srinivas shared that he was the first engineer in his family, a revelation that shocked Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath.
AI Professional CEO spoke with Kamath in the release of Zerodha Boss’WTF on Monday.
During the conversation, Nikhil Kamath asked Aravind Srinivas about his family.
“My mom is in the government, the central government and my father are accountants. He is a financial accountant. So I was actually the first engineer in the big family,” Srinivas replied.
His reply shocked Nikhil Kamath, who asked about Tamil blood.
“Really? You’re Tamili, are you?”
As a general concept throughout India, people living in southern states are considered to be more attracted to professional courses such as engineering.
Aravind Srinivas answered Kamath’s questions, explaining that his family has an accounting background.
“Yes, but our family has a more accounting background. So engineering is still a new thing for us,” he said.
Aravind Srinivas with support from mother and wife
During the chat, the confusion CEO also elaborated on the roles of his parents, especially mother and wife.
“I did all the work to study and do the exams, but they took care of other things for me. So it’s not a personal thing,” he said.
“The same thing (it’s happening now). I’m doing this job, running a company, but my wife takes care of me at home. It’s not just support at home. It’s more about ethical support,” Srinivas added.
Srinibas said that speaking further requires someone who can rely on in the right direction.
“You have a lot of people to rely on. A lot of times, you don’t necessarily feel the best of your chances. And, there are a lot of things that can’t be shared with your own colleagues because as a founder or CEO, you always have to figure it out like all of me.”
“So, someone needs to go for help, or just someone pushes you,” Srinivas added.
Aravind Srinivas stays grounded
Again, at other times, when something positive happens, it takes someone to be humble, and it is the confusing CEO.
“Sometimes, when things go well, like you might feel like you’re at the top of the world, someone has to take you back to the earth and say, ‘Hey, calm down. You haven’t figured it out yet. My wife did it for me.”
Srinivas recalled his days at IIT Madras and told Nikhil Kamath that his mother had helped him stay focused in the past.
“Going back to when I was studying for IIT, it was like my mom was always checking me and making sure I was focusing on the focus. It was important,” he said.
The CEO told Kamas: “You do it for you at the same time.
