Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have been divorced by Mumbai Family Court after a joint petition. After the divorce of the two, Nitin Kumar Gupta, an advocate representing Chahar, said: “The court approved the divorce decree. The court has accepted a joint petition from both parties. The parties are no longer a couple.”
Earlier, the Family Court refused to waive the cooling period on the grounds that only partial compliance with the terms of agreement was required to pay Rs 4.775 crore to Dhanashree. The Family Court noted that he had paid Rs 2.37 crore.
