Currently based in Los Angeles-based Indian music producer Zeek has made history with his latest project, producing the highly anticipated track “High Love” for the Smurfs (2025) soundtrack. The music video of the track is now released, which includes an all-star lineup – DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Natania and Subhi, a song that is a global sensation that further cements Zeek’s position as a pioneer in the music industry.
Premium Love, produced by Zeek and Ethan Roberts, blends pop, pop with pop, RNB and dance, blending cinematic elements with Zeek’s iconic electronic injected sound. The track can be heard in the official trailer for Smurfs (2025), allowing fans to taste early on promising to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
Zeek’s journey has been a constantly evolving journey from his career to Hollywood. He has worked with top artists such as Armaan Malik, Amaal Malik, Arijit Singh and Pritam. Talking about this big collaboration, Zeek said: “Man, honestly, when I left India for Los Angeles, I was scared. It took me six to seven years to grind with Amaal and Armaan – we were in the studio for 14 hours a day, just working on music, just giving ourselves a name in the industry of Bollywood, which could be my life. It took another five years to get somewhere. It felt like a long road, but I made the conscious choice – to stop working with everyone and invest all the time here.
I focus on the internet, meet new people, and make my brain completely different. I’m glad I did it – because this transformation made me understand who I am. It helped me rediscover my love for music, which made me the moment. Two years later, I am here, and together with Ethan, a higher love, featuring legends like DJ Khaled and Cardi B, and created with my closest friends Natania and Subhi. This kind of package (this moment) is something most people can only dream of. I am very grateful for my life. I thank God, and I thank everyone who helped shape me who I am musically and personally.
