The Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) and Cosmos-Mysuru (UOM) of the University of Mysore (UOM) will organize public events in Vijnana Bhavan on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 to observe the zero-shadow day phenomenon.
Mysuru’s Zero Shade Day takes place on April 22 and August 20, when the sun is directly above the local noon head, while vertical objects have no visible shadow.
