Zoe Daniel’s humiliation as Tim Wilson restores Goldstein’s history to seat – Tzure Independence
Tim Wilson will be reinstated as a federal MP after the woman who announced her victory on Election Night at the ball.
He regained Goldstein’s seat as one-third independent Teal Zoe Daniel, a woman who deported him from the interior southeastern three years ago.
At the beginning of today’s last statistic, Wilson was counted with 176 votes, with 117 votes.
Daniel cannot close the gap in Melbourne Bayside seat until the Australian Election Commission confirms Wilson’s victory.
Wilson posted a WhatsApp message Tuesday night after his “unprecedented” victory.
“We have just broken three Australian political records together,” he wrote.
“The first team is going to regain the same seat as the independent MP – ever!

“The first liberal team that won seats for independent MPs over 110 years had an election (and only completed before 1913 in Gippsland.”
Daniel has not admitted failure yet.
If there are competitors with 100 votes or less, the AEC will automatically perform the recalculation.
If the vote difference is above this threshold, the candidate can also ask for a recalculation.
This comes after her worship supporters who announced their victory on Election Night two weeks ago.
David Guetta’s “Titanium” exploded, and the crowd cheered loudly as it walked to the stage.
When she got there, she reached into the air with her hands, proclaiming “hope to win.”

She thanked her supporters and added: “What we have achieved here is extraordinary.”
But within a few hours, as the number of votes continued, it was clear that Daniel’s seat was still on the edge of the knife.
Two days later, even after she returned to the victory claim, Daniel was still in the dance mood.
The Tzu MP shared a video of her all-female office, dancing with Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club.
She captioned the video. “But anyway, we will continue to dance. ”
After Wilson announced his victory on May 7, several media outlets declared Goldstein favor.
Later, he considered elevating himself for liberal leaders and then excluding himself.

Daniel, 52, is a former ABC foreign journalist turned politician who runs to fight climate change and solves integrity issues in politics.
She was elected as the so-called Tsubasa independent in 2022, beating Wilson 52.87% to 47.13%.
Wilson, 45, is a former assistant secretary of the Scott Morrison administration, serving as a member of Goldstein from 2016 to 2022.
He successfully pioneered the proposal with former labor leader Bill Bill Shorten to cancel tax breaks on candid credit for investors.
He is also a champion of marriage equality and proposed to his partner on the parliament floor in 2016, while announcing his support for same-sex marriage reform.
Wilson was a former Human Rights Commissioner, before that, in a senior position at the right-wing think tank of the Institute for Public Affairs.
