The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said on Thursday (10 April 2025) that extraditioned the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack, accusing Tahawwur Hussain Rana of being accused of reflecting the determination of the new India, which is the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of Pakistan’s zero element, which is a zero-bearing leadership over Pakistan’s zero-bearing leadership.

BJP country spokesman Shehzad Poonawalla said at a press conference that Rana is not an ordinary extradition because it shows Mr. Modi’s firm action on terrorism. In 2019, the Prime Minister had stated that anyone who threatens the unity, integrity, security and identity of India or any Indian will be brought to justice.

Mr Poonawalla said the BJP never allowed voting bank politics to occupy the national interest, saying the New India motto was neither to forgive nor forget terrorists, but to track them anywhere and put them in the face of the law.

He said the extradition has taken huge lawsuits not only for Indian victims, but also for victims in several other countries, including the United States, Israel, France, Germany, Italy and Malaysia, who were killed in the terrorist attack. He pays homage to the police and security officers/officials who have given their lives.

The BJP leader said between 2004 and 2014 that the government’s attitude toward terrorism has changed over the past decade, as terrorist activities in the country have been greatly reduced, “no month in a month” and no terrorist attacks in any major cities.
