CU Group members urge VC to release TA, DA as teacher

A group member of Calicart University (CU) urged the Vice President (VC) to release the travel allowance (TA) and precious allowance (DA) for university teachers involved in examination duties.

P. Rasheed Ahammed, a member of the group, said in a recent letter to VC that only teachers over 50 kilometers can get a TA. They didn’t get a DA at all. He also claimed that people who were doing actual exams were forced to wait for hours to get them. Mr. Ahamid claimed that the allowance was reportedly put on hold by audit objections.
