Delhi CEO uses AI to capture employees’ moonlight, Sparks debates at home: “WFH doesn’t mean you…”

The employee is working remotely and is asked to install a time tracking tool to ensure accountability. However, she reportedly resigned in anger and accused the company of having a toxic work culture in LinkedIn posts.
A Delhi-based CEO claims that artificial intelligence (AI) helped reveal the alleged employees in the moonlight. Law Sikho CEO Ramanuj Mukherjee said the company noticed a decline in employee performance and used AI to analyze her work data. The employee is working remotely and is asked to install a time tracking tool to ensure accountability. However, she reportedly resigned in anger and accused the company of having a toxic work culture in LinkedIn posts.
Mukherjee shared on X: “We suspect someone is in the moonlight. We used AI to analyze her data and found signs of double employment. When asked to install tracking software, she quit and called our culture toxic. Working doesn’t mean you can work an hour and ask for eight.”
Law Sikho co-founder Yash Vijayvargiya also commented on the issue. He said the employee achieved her goal last time in November, and in the past two months, she has only 30%. He also shared reports that appear to be AI-generated, indicating that she worked only 40% of the expected, while most of her workdays were not abbreviated.
Mukherjee further claims that employees have forged past work experience. He posted that she lied when she was fired for two years within six months. He also claimed she submitted forged documents such as letters and payroll.
The incident sparked debate on social media about the future of remote work. Mukherjee said such actions are causing companies to rethink their work policies at work. “These people ruined distant work for everyone,” he wrote.
Other users responded to this question. Some say remote work is abused by people who lack discipline, while others stress that some bad examples should not undermine everyone. Many agree that trust, accountability and integrity are essential to success in remote work.
