Mirza Abbas Ali wants to be an Air Force pilot, but after he fails to clear the entrance exams from the National Defense Academy (India), he is forced to give up his dream. He had a plan to replace the MBA, but it was the film industry who called him.

In 1995, Mirza Abbas Ali persisted in auditioning for the Tamil film and impressed director Kadhir’s performance. Mirza Abbas Ali eventually made her debut in Kadhal Desam (1996) opposite Vineeth and Tabu. The film is a commercial success, and Abbas is known as a superstar in the media. During his career, Mirza Abbas Ali continued to work with superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Mammootty.

However, Mirza Abbas Ali’s film soon began to fail at the box office, leaving him bankrupt. Abbas once revealed in an interview with The Indian Express: “After my initial achievements, some of my films faced failures that made me financially fail and could not even afford basic necessities like rent or cigarettes. I quickly approached producer RB Choudary and asked for a job. He gave me an opportunity to be part of the film Pooveli. But I don’t like movies.

Mirza Abbas Ali eventually quit the show after 2015 and moved to New Zealand. Abbas shared that he has faced bankruptcy four times, “To provide my family, I worked as a bicycle mechanic in New Zealand, clean toilets, and drive taxis.”

Mirza Abbas Ali now runs a family business across India and serves as a motivational speaker, spreading awareness about mental health through workshops. He is an avid supporter of filming in New Zealand.
