Moscow, April 19: Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an Easter ceasefire with Ukraine on Saturday, fighting Ukraine from 18:00 hours (Moscow time) until 00:00 hours on Sunday, and demanded a return from Kief.
Putin made the announcement at a meeting with Chief of Staff Director Gerasimov, who reported that the entire territory of the Kursk region was liberated except for two pockets bordering Ukraine. Parts of the region were invaded by the Russian AFU in August 2024.
