44th anniversary of the infamous Indervelli shooting: Seethakka pays homage to the Indervelli Martyrs column

Panchayat Raj Raj Raj Minister D. Anakka said the Adivasi Warriors fought land and livelihoods in the tribal heartland of the integrated Adilabad region of Telangana, paving the way for the formulation of various laws to protect tribal rights and implement welfare plans for tribal people.

Adilabad MP Godam Nagesh and Khanapur MLA Vedma Bhojju were present.
The minister said in the Martyrs column that the Congressional government is implementing various measures for family members of the victims of the Indervelli police fire that occurred on April 20, 1981.
The commemoration attracted dozens of Adivasis from various regions of the former Adirabad region. The area of the Martyrs’ column echoes the slogan, and through Adivasis, it fought for a historic struggle for “Jal, the Jungle, the Zameen”.
