Celebrity condemns Pahalgam terrorist attack
On Tuesday, celebrities including Akshay Kumar and Kamal Haasan condemned the terrorist attacks by tourists near the town of Pahalgam in Kashmir. Terrorists opened fire on a famous grass near Pahargam on Tuesday afternoon, killing 26 people, mainly tourists, in the deadliest attack since the 2019 Pulwama strike.
Kumar wrote on X: “It’s shocking to know about the terrorist attacks on Pahargam tourists. Pure evil kills such innocent people. Pray for their families.”
Hassan condemned the “outrageous terrorist attack” and wrote on X: “My thoughts are related to the family that has lost a loved one, and I hope for the strength and recovery of the injured.
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani said he was heartbroken by the terror attacks in Pahalgam and urged people to unite against hatred and terror. He wrote: “The innocent lives of civilians and tourists are devastating. Such violence has no place in any society. Pray for families who have lost loved ones and affected families. Let us unite against hatred and terror. My thoughts and prayers are with those affected.”
Actor Sanjay Dutt said the attack on tourists cannot be “forgived”. “They killed our people with cold blood. It’s unforgivable that these terrorists need to know that we are not keeping quiet. We need to retaliate and I ask our Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, Home Minister @amitshah ji and Defense Minister @rajnathsingh ji to give them what they deserve,” he wrote on x. ”
Sonu Sood also condemned the terrorist attack on Pahalgam tourists. He wrote: “Terrorism should not occupy any place in a civilized world, and such a mean act is unacceptable. I express my deepest condolences to families who have lost their loved ones and those who pray for those who have suffered injuries in the early recovery.”
