Interior Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said officials who violated the law and made mistakes are now facing trouble.

“The government has arrested suspended IPS official P. Sitarama Anjaneyulu and has evidence. Regardless of the position, we will punish the defendants,” the interior minister said in a reporter at Vijayawada on Tuesday. She added that the TDP leaders were scheduled to be in fake cases and were harassed during the YSRCP regime.

In 2022, Ms. Anitha ordered a thorough investigation into the case in the 2022 murder of driver V. Subramanyam in the Kakinada area (the delivery of the corpse case) as requested by the victim’s family members.
