Minister Pang Nan said he was preparing to hold talks with the trade union

Hyderabad: Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said on Sunday that he was preparing to hold talks with the TGSRTC union, which decided to strike indefinitely from May 7 to support its 23 requests.
“Please know that we are in poor financial situation. RTC workers should keep the government’s financial situation in mind. RTC is now on the road to profit. We discuss it whenever the workers meet with us on May 5 or 6 for talks. ” he said while talking to media people.
If the RTC union does not relax and continues the strike led by the RTC Joint Action Committee (JAC), up to 40,600 employees will resist duty, while the buses may remain confined to the May 6 warehouse.
Eight unions supported the JAC Watch strike to support 23 requirements.
A few days ago, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy filed a warm appeal to TGSRTC employees to withdraw the strike in greater RTC interests, which RTC has just begun to make profits.
He said of the meetings related to Mayday, “RTC is recovering from losses and just starting to turn to the path to profitability. At this juncture, it is not recommended for employees to strike. RTC is your organization and your organization has the responsibility to protect all aspects,” he said.
